Apple Cake
Ingredients
4 apples (peeled and thinly sliced)
14 tbsp of self-raising flour
14 tbsp of sugar
14 tbsp of milk
14 tbsp of oil (any neutral oil)
4 eggs
Cinnamon
Method
Pre-heat your oven at 180°C.
Mix the eggs with the sugar until you obtain a cream double in volume.
Gently mix in the milk and oil.
Mix in the sifted flour.
Grease and line with baking paper a round cake tin.
Dispose the apple slices in layers. In between each layer, “season” with cinnamon.
Pour the batter on top of the apple layers.
Bake for about 30-40 minutes.
Serve warm with clotted cream or ice-cream.
